A New Moon

The first painting of 2011! Which also makes it the first painting I've done in a long, long time. So I was a little out of practice and made some dumb mistakes, but I still like the concept...actually, I'll probably paint another one sometime with less garish colors. We'll see. Anyway, it's been like a month since I painted this one, but I wanted to have a batch of paintings ready before I set up for a proper photography session. The next five to come!
