The college art plan
So! I'm back at college, and up to my eyeballs in challenging classes such as Japanese and Historical Writing! It's a full-time job, hours-wise. But I'm still making an effort to do art! I'm just adapting my current interests to my available space in my new apartment. Meaning: I've bought an easel and canvas, and will be painting in the traditional way for the first time! I also am in a drawing class now, so they'll be forcing me to go traditional with that too. Anyway, lots of supplies were on sale for the new school year, yay, so I've got lots of materials, and am excited to go in some new directions! Watch this space. :)

Leaving DeviantArt for a while...
I'm afraid I'm going to have to quit maintaining my gallery and socializing here for a while. The university I'm attending recently decided to block this site because it allows nudity, and since that includes the whole domain, I can't access my own gallery anymore. I appealed, but they didn't want to change their minds. I'm not really going to comment on it, because it's their right to do it (just a drawback of going to a religious college, I guess.) But since I'm not going to drive to some other internet connection just to use this site, I'm just going to have to stick to my LiveJournal for the time being.
