Pastel Portrait Study I

First in my series of pastel studies of cute girls. :3

Three admissions about this particular one: 1. I did use a photo reference from here on dA (it's in the Art Reference folder in my Favorites), but I feel like my version is so different I really don't need to specifically get permission or link to it. If I'm wrong, correct me, but it really is quite different. 2. I messed up some proportions in the original (one of her eyes ended up being in the wrong place), so I did use some digital trickery to fix that for the digital version. Bet you can't spot the photoshoppery, though. 3. I actually used conte crayon on this, but those are technically a type of pastel, and on the later ones I'll be using a mix of both, so I figured it'd just be simpler to call the whole series pastels.

Oh, I'm just full of deceptions, aren't I?
